Category: Hall Of Social Networks. Posted by Admin at 6:34 am.

Here is the story of Stephen Schwarzman. Last year Stephen A. Schwarzman made fifty-three on the list of America’s most wealthy, however it’s his significant success in the world of business not to mention his contributions to education and the arts which make this story something wonderful. His biography shows us that the greatest things in achieving success are devoted working hard and dedication. In the 1980’s Steve established the Blackstone Group with Peter Peterson; initially as an equity management and financial advice business. As the company matured, it has grown into a world leader in mergers and acquisitions; but he wasn’t always part of a world-famous company. Spending many of his childhood years in near Philadelphia, PA, Stephen commenced his early education in suburban Philadelphia. When he graduated from high school he went on to study further at the internationally renowned Yale University in Connecticut and got his bachelor’s degree in 1969. He then opted for an Master’s degree in Business Administration at the acclaimed Harvard Business school near Boston, MA. Once he had finished his time at college, Stephen commenced his career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers. He was appointed to the boards at the exceedingly precocious age of thirty-one. Stephen Schwarzman served as an associate professor at the exalted Yale School of Business Management and also supports many not for profit organizations, educational programs, and the liberal arts. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in New York. On top of all that, he proudly announced in the spring of 2008 that he had committed $100 million to the New York Public Library to help in funding their expansion. In fact, the New York Public Library called one of their new buildings the “Stephen A. Schwarzman Building” in his honor.

Stephen is now a role model for a new generation of financiers — Times Magazine recently appointed him as one of the 100 most influential people on the planet. His swift rise in the business and financial sectors is surely stunning, and without a doubt his generosity has given business leaders a one of a kind new benchmark to compete with in future. So the business space waits in anticipation to see what Stephen will do next. On the whole, Stephen has taken every opportunity that came his way, yet he has equally employed his money and influence to try to ameliorate his community.
