Regained Hair & My Confidence!

My hair loss treatment journey began the day I started to notice my thinning hair and my bald spot becoming bigger. The most apparent thing to do was to seek ways to comb my hair to conceal my bald spot. I got down to wear more and more caps on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Walking in to work every morning was a tough experience without my hat on. Your mind will do that to you when you are experiencing hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

Having suffered from balding, I began to treasure every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each strand of hair I lost, so was a small percent of my confidence gone as well. A acquaintance of mine had been experiencing the same problem as me. I noticed lately that he seemed so much more relaxed and it looks as though his hair was growing back. I didn’t wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when he told me about Advanced Hair Studio. My friend Josh told me that he had only had a few treatments and has already started to see some positive results, he not only regrown his hair, but his self-confidence as well. I was determined to give Advanced Hair a try as after all I had a lot to lose, meaning my hair and self-confidence.

At first, I was a little sceptical. But results were evident within a few weeks. Not only on my head, but in my behaviour. I started to lose the hats on the weekends and I quickly began to feel better about myself. My wife who has been complaining about my lack of interest in our relationship began to notice the change in that department as well. It is amazing how just a few trips to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I have constantly been worried about people noticing my bald spot. Now, I am not concerned to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of self esteem back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair little by little, but a big chunk of my life as well. If you are suffering from hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your self-assurance continue to be lost with your hair.

Treatments for Hair Loss in the Market

Many men and women that endure from hair loss often have low self esteem. Genetics, aging and hormonal instabilities all contribute to hair loss. However, those suffering from baldness or thinning hair, have various hair loss solutions to select from.

For the males, the only accessible prescribed hair loss solution is Propecia (generic name Finasteride). The drug brings down the levels of a hormone called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a chemical that causes balding. When taken daily, Propecia takes down DHT levels by up to 60%. Roughly half of all men who consume Propecia regrow hair on their scalps.

The nonprescription drug Minoxidil (Rogaine) is available for men and women suffering from hair loss. Research suggests Minoxidil works in around one out of every three men who apply the product twice daily. While the five-percent strength is not recommended for women, some physicians will prescribe the higher concentration. Patients applying the higher dose enhanced their hair growth.

Organic supplements are also used as hair loss treatments. Supplements such as flaxseed and primrose oils contain essential fatty acids that make hair look lusher and healthier. Vitamin B3, B5, and B6 also accelerate hair growth. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Coenzyme Q10 stimulate hair follicles to enhance scalp circulation. Zinc, Kelp and Copper boost immune functions, aiding hair growth.

Laser hair therapy (LHT) is the latest hair loss treatment approved for women and men. This hair loss treatment uses low-light lasers to repair damaged hair cells. Research suggest that around 90 percent of patients regrow hair. Laser hair therapy also prevents additional hair thinning and loss.

Currently, more hair loss treatments are available to treat male-pattern baldness. However, researchers are conducting studies to further understand which hair loss treatments work best for women. While many options exist, early intervention is the key to improving hair loss and regaining self confidence.

True Compassion: a Friend's Longing for her Natural Hair

Our group of friends couldn’t believe the breathtakingly human Caroline Smart, our family friend, would accessorize with wigs. Her voluminous long black hair was synonymous with her femininity. But surprise surprise. She continues to be celebrated for her hair. Very few know she wears lace front wigs. Guess it’s no secret anymore.

As kids growing up in our home town of Scottsdale, we always had our picks of boys. A few years went by before her medical hair loss reared its head and she became nearly bald. I recommended these human hair wigs. Oh well, she just shaved her head. Unfazed by medical hair loss, she proudly never let you forget about her attitude.

At our university’s homecoming, we heckled till a guy on other team accidentally hit the little ball (or whatever you call it) at the crowd. Quick on her feet, she tried to get it and her bandana fell off, unveiling her naked head. As though nothing were amiss, she lobbed it playfully right back at him. She’s that kind of girl.

However, there’s two sides to every coin. Once we got together for a cookie baking marathon, where she looked me in the eye and confided that she would rather do without hair out of bitterness. She loved her old hair so much she can’t even become dependent on human hair wigs, even if she wanted her hair back. Suddenly she she stopped talking and demanded that I it was silly. She really needed help.

We got so worried about her. Shortly after, I called about settling the wig issue. After a long deliberation we came to an agreement: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. Wigs for the both of us, on me!

We had a great time, stunned by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. I never knew that synthetic wigs are very appealing for a lot of people. These were exactly what she needed. Personally, I arranged an entirely contemporary ensemble to wear with our wigs. We do it all together, if you haven’t heard. Last Christmas she sent me her thanks for the wig, and said it encourages a lost identity in her life. It’s delightful to realize little miss attitude strut her stuff like never before. Can’t wait to see that infamous “toss ‘n turn” again.

Excellent Dating Rules to Live by in Milwaukee

My sisters call me “Cupid”, because that’s a my natural job. I highly endorse joining Great Expectations. No escaping it, cupid shows up without notice. The most reputable matchmakers, like Great Expectations Milwaukee (one of the best), know Milwaukee’s qualified singles and their dating preferences. Matchmakers coordinate effective social events like a mutual friend, for a personalized dating experience. That’s just an underrated task offering significant return by changing working marriages for eternity.

I’ve casually shared social networking tips on my blog and for as long as I can remember. What you’ll find here isn’t rehashed advice. You know all that. Take an interest in conversational tone, dispaly some sense of style, don’t be uncomfortable, be frank and (a doozie) don’t start grading qualifications in your mind. Take it breazy, at your own pace! Allow for spontanaity in any situation. Obviously, don’t exacerbate things hoping to pretend you are anything other than what you are. Suppose the relation becomes meaningful, then you’ll have to reveal your lies. Of course there are perks to joining the top dating service for Milwaukee Singles. It’s no secret that timely introductions is my profession I fine-tuned every day, striving for perfection. Victories those who know me developed my title. The results are hard to ignore.

Look at Stacy and Jerry plus their 4 kids. Take a stab at who set-up the couple together at an architecture luncheon once upon a time, and the compatibility can’t be denied. Daniel and Lindsay also fell head over heels because I put them at the same table on a kayaking excursion not long ago. But most importantly my soririty sister Ashley and her fiance. It’s no secret this adorable pair say their vowes in Manhattan next October. They’re perfect together and discovered their companionship using Great Expectations, from my behest.

It appears I’ve been right on with these arrows, and marvelously productive at that! But it’s also a curse, as I’ve been perfecting helping others realize the attitude needed to build a life together with someone, I looked past my personal dating health. Can you guess what irony prevails when the matchmaker needs a little serendipity? I will enjoy Great Expectations Milwaukee Wisconsin, because when you’re specialized in an area one can be picky. Perhaps similar thinking has kept me from really getting serious about dating. More than most, I must realize that it’s tough to keep up in life’s journey lacking a partner. Here I go, setting out on a dating adventure by quality singles.

How Hair Loss Can Influence Your Self-Confidence

Posted by admin in Life Of Self Improvement

Hardly do we get teens & young adults in their early twenties with areas of hair disappeared from their scalps. The majority of hair loss in men happens in their thirties and 40’s, however it isn’t strange from men in their late twenties to lose hair as well. The concept of aging is cringed throughout today’s society. Where aging was in the past a symbol of enlightenment and judiciousness, it is presently frequently looked upon as if the elder you get, the more boring people become. All this is absolutely not TRUE in most cases. Nevertheless, since this is how the media and modern society depict middle aged men & women, & losing hair is a symbol of getting elder, it is no wonder that hair loss may affect someone’s self-esteem.

TV shows often portray middle aged men with hair loss as the folks most unlikely to succeed with scoring dates, or being happy in general. The character George Costanza of NBC’s hit sitcom, Seinfeld, is one perfect instance of this. Costanza was in his late 30’s and suffered classic male pattern hair loss. He quite often referred to his hair loss as one of his largest reasons for never before succeeding at practically anything in life. Men and women alike both have a tendency to feel self conscious, particularly when it comes to the opposite sex. In our culture, a full, luscious, head of hair is considered to be beautiful, and make someone look more youthful and healthy.

Modern technology is most useful in curing hair loss. Advanced hair loss treatments are attainable to restore one’s hair & make it look entirely natural as if you had not lost hair to begin with. It is not essential in this era & age to have to settle with hair restoration. One’s quality of life doesn’t have to be changed with low confidence when there are so countless advanced hair restoration treatments to choose from. Whether a prescription drug, contemporary remedy, follicle transplants, or laser therapy, there are numerous options that will fit many budgets.

Panic Disorder Remedies - Effective Ways to Prevent Panic Attacks

Due to our existence it means that we routinely have to defeat life’s obstructions. It seems that the more we grow technology and ways to produce things more rapidly, the more anxiety attacks increase. This is a conundrum. You could easily guess that bothersome demands and anxieties would lessen with our consistent advancement in technology. Yet, anxiety and depression appear much worse now than when compared to the past. It is quite possible that in the past, it was not mannerly to discuss these topics. These days are different, we now talk about it openly. Fact is, as you flip through TV channels, it is almost certain that you have come across an ad for a medicinal drug, which offers panic attacks treatment (http://stop-panicattacks.org).

folk are confronting their problems in this contemporary world of solutions. It does not matter if it is a phobic disorder of large crowds or a sleep disorder, researchers continue to make advances with new solutions. Anxiety and depressive disorder are certainly at the top of this long list. When I ponder the notion of depression, I think of an individual who has recently lost a loved one or an individual who is handicapped in such a way that prevents them from carrying on normally. This is not necessarily accurate. Many people are weighed down by the burden of panic attacks and depression for other reasons. We usually do not recognize the reasons. You may wonder if it concerns the food we eat. For some reason or another, folk seem to have troubles with remaining content.

A topic that concerns me, is teens. Panic attacks and natural depression seems to be affecting them more than anyone these days. Acknowledged, being a teenager is hard in some areas, and unbelievably easy in others. Through many teenagers eyes, it appears all negative. I was a teen myself not long ago. We all know what it’s like. Nevertheless, panic attacks were not part of my teenager experience. It is difficult to understand the changes of the last ten years. Anxiety attacks should not be a childhood experience. In point of fact, anxiety attacks and depression should be much less frequent than it is altogether.

Five Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd

Posted by admin in Life Of Self Improvement

Some people are content to just to be another face in the crowd. By assuming this attitude, they are saying, in effect, to the rest of the world, I’m just average; there’s nothing special about me. For those of us who would rather stand out from the crowd, there are some relatively easy ways in which we can accomplish this mission. None of them require a whole lot of skill or money. They do, however, require a little bit of commitment on our part.

The first way to stand out from the crowd is to take time to do the little things right. The old saying goes that if it were easy, eve ryone would be doing it. Well, that’s not necessarily true, as there are some easy things most people don’t do because they just don’t think those things are worthwhile. Here are two examples. The next time you go to the grocery store, notice how many people actually take time to carry the carts back to the cart-return. You will probably notice that only a very few of them do. Most will leave them between parking spaces, in handicapped spaces, or they’ll simply turn them loose, allowing them to roll freely through the parking lot. By default, they are saying to the world, I don’t have time to do things right or everyone else is doing it that way and I am no different. If you always take time to take yours back to the cart-return, you will stand out as positive example.

The other example has to do with making proper turns while driving, including using your turn signal. Remember how you were taught in driving school or driver’s education class to make turns? You are supposed to make sharp rights and wide lefts. Amazingly, many drivers will do just the opposite! Make turns the way you are supposed to and always use your turn signal. These are just a couple of examples, but taking the time to do the little things right will make you will stand out for the right reasons.

The second way to stand out from the crowd is to find alternatives to profanity. A person who relies on profanity in his or her speech patterns comes off as someone who is boorish and has a limited vocabulary. There are plenty of ways to tell someone exactly what you think about him or her without being profane. Even a person who is not all that intelligent seems a lot smarter when he or she avoids the use of profanity. At a minimum, that person seems more high class than people who just can’t help themselves from using profanity.

The third way to stand out from the crowd is to memorize things that most other people commonly forget. Most people have short memories when it comes to subjects like politics and world events. For example, I’d wager that 90% of the citizens of my home state cannot name the losing candidate in the last gubernatorial election. Ten years from now, the majority of Americans will not be able to name John Kerry as the loser of this year’s presidential election! Too many people are just so caught up in their own little worlds that they don’t bother to retain certain things that don’t directly affect them. You don’t need a photographic memory to memorize stuff. Anyone who doesn’t have some type of memory-affecting brain disease can do it. All you have to do is practice. Write things down. Repeat them to yourself over and over. If you can commonly remember things that others have long forgotten, you’ll really stand out.

The fourth way to stand out from the crowd is to live below your means. This is probably the toughest item on my list to follow as our culture dictates that we mortgage ourselves to the hilt. We are taught to keep up with the Joneses. We are taught to buy everything the banks and our credit cards will allow us to buy, whether we can afford it or not. However, we should strive to leave as big of a gap as possible between our income and our bills. I know there are people out there who have large families and/or limited incomes and are struggling to make ends meet. I know that not everyone can have as big of a pad as I have between my income and my bills. However, it hasn’t always been that way for me. I grew up in a very poor family. We lived in the housing projects from the time I was six until the time I was 18. However, we were always able to pay our bills on time because my parents didn’t buy things they couldn’t afford.

When I began my career, I didn’t make much, but I still always had some money to spare after paying my bills. If I couldn’t afford something, I didn’t buy it until I could afford it. There were even some things that I was able to afford but still didn’t buy because I wanted to have some money left for unexpected expenses. I didn’t buy my first car until I was more than a year into my first full-time job. This is a lot of freedom that comes with living below one’s means. When everyone around you is struggling to make ends meet and you’re not, you really stand out.

The fifth way to stand out from the crowd is to make decisions based on logic and reason instead of emotion and/or dogma. Too many people react emotionally to situations, rather than thinking them out rationally. For example, many people will get upset if someone calls them a name or flashes a particular gesture at them, even though there’s no logical reason to get so agitated by such behavior. It doesn’t make you a blankety-blank just because someone calls you one. However, many people react as if it does!

Other people get caught in the dogma trap. They make up their minds first and then look at the facts and evidence later. Even when they do get around to the facts, they will seek only those which seem to support their views while disregarding or explaining away those which seem to support a contrary view. You’ve met people who are staunch supporters of one particular political party or the other, for example. To them, their party is always right and the other is always wrong, even though common sense tells us that one particular side of any issue is never right all the time. Reasonable people realize that the truth usually lies somewhere between the two extremes. Many times, I’ve come across rah rah partisan sites in the web, which disregard the dictates of common sense in favor of the fact that their extreme side has cornered the market on all truth. By using logic and reason to make your decisions in an open-minded fashion, you give yourself a major advantage over much of the population.

There are other ways to stand out from the crowd, even though I’ve just highlighted five of them here. They include things like using proper grammar and spelling, volunteering for thankless jobs, and always being courteous. I’m sure you could think of many others. The point is that, if you want to stand out from the crowd, there are ways within the power of almost anyone to do so - if he or she is only willing.

Aloha - Learning to be Happy with Yourself

Posted by admin in Life Of Self Improvement

Shelly felt sick. As she sat at the table and watched all the people eating, talking, and having a good time, all she could think about was if anyone noticed how horrible and runny the stuffing was. Shelly’s mother in law had fallen off of a step-stool two weeks earlier and broken her wrist. This year, for the first time, Easter dinner, which was also celebrated as her father in laws birthday, was being done at Shelly’s house. At first it seemed like a great idea. When Allen, her husband, had suggested it as a great way to help his mother out, Shelly embraced the thought. However, as the day grew closer it became more and more overwhelming.

Shelly was frustrated that Allen hadn’t recognized how hard she’d worked to prepare in advance and had been short with him for days. She found herself trying to fit into her schedule a trip to the hair stylist so she would look good when the family from out of town arrived. She stayed up past midnight three nights in a row frantically cleaning and getting the two guest rooms in perfect order. Now that the event was upon her and everyone was having a wonderful time, and by all measures, Shelly was miserable. The stuffing was runny. Not to mention, Shelly was cranky and she had snapped at Allen in front of his mother earlier. It was humiliating. Shelly was positive it would live on in family history forever. Shelly didn’t think his mother had ever really liked her that much anyway. What a mess she had made of things…

The person we judge the most and judge most harshly is always ourselves. As women we are trained - it is ingrained in us to be critical of ourselves and as we learn to do it to ourselves first we also learn to direct it outward on the world around us. Nothing, and I mean nothing drains our personal energy the way judging ourselves does. However, this is the one habit of self sabotage that is so subtle, so soft, it’s like a whisper, but it is the mother of all of our failures. Judging self is the most fundamental crime we commit against humanity for if we cannot love ourselves we surely will never truly love another. That is a bold statement. However, it’s true and although we know in our hearts it’s true, we go on judging ourselves quite harshly everyday anyway.

Again, embracing the spirit of Aloha, to love is to be happy with and that applies to our relationship with self more then any other. If we can find a way as women to escape judging ourselves and just settle into being happy with who we are, we free up so much personal space inside our heads that we can finally begin to thrive. Wouldn’t it be great to thrive? I mean seriously. I know this sounds a little like mumbo, but really - what if you could just commit to loving yourself and you could then have enough extra personal energy to work on that novel you’ve wanted to write or train for a marathon? You may never know what you could achieve until you commit to loving yourself with abandon just to see what’s possible.

So, fast forward one full year. It’s Easter. Shelly’s mother in law has just decided that since the family descends on her home for all the other holidays, she doesn’t want to do Easter anymore. They enjoyed it so much last year, Allen’s family more or less invites themselves back to Shelly’s place. This year Shelly spends a few bucks, hires someone to come in for an afternoon to clean the house while she goes to the spa the before the family comes. For dinner instead of the regular Easter fare Shelly serves an amazing Italian dinner that her family would traditionally make for special occasions. Everybody raves about it. There is no stuffing in sight.

There is a photo that hangs in Shelly’s kitchen today of Allen’s dad’s 64th birthday cake all ablaze with sixty-four candles and all the family around it in her kitchen with Dad and Shelly blowing out the candles together. It’s a classic. I can’t help but smile every time I see it. She’s beaming.

Shelly figured out Aloha. Make it your year.
